The Quantum EVO with 99 mm last has an edge over other boots because of its innovative, two-part shell and shaft construction made of carbon-reinforced polyamide, and its anatomical fit. It combines an extremely tough, stiff outer shell including a continuous sole plate with maximum freedom of movement for long climbs.

An optimised centre opening with a stretchy gaiter makes it easy to get the boot on and off, despite the hardness of the shell. Low weight and a two-piece EVO Dual Link shaft with a 65° range of motion significantly reduce the effort required when walking. Once you’re at the summit, simply close the slightly higher shaft with shin padding using the Hike & Ride buckle and Velcro power strap, giving you a comfortable, snug fit and optimum power transmission. The wide Velcro strap has a memory function and quick release, and only has to be set once.

The shell material is extremely stiff, which means your steering signals are transmitted to the ski fully and instantly, giving you the best possible downhill performance and ski control. A very light, dual density ID touring liner with AUTOFIT padding guarantees firm heel support, warmth and wonderful comfort.

The Quantum EVO features MyFit technology, so it can be adjusted to each foot individually. A treaded Vibram sole (rocker) with graded hardness helps the boot hold firm in snow and when climbing, and transmits power to the binding and ski without any play at all.

FREEBUCKLES:

Quantum Free line has a lower cable buckle with 4 positions and a 7 mm micro adjustment system to feel the desired pressure around the foot. The upper one is a reverse closing buckle with a protection ring to avoid the disengagement from the rack while walking.

VIBRAM® SOLE:

Featured on Quantum models, a profiled Vibram rocker sole with varying hardness offers good grip in the snow when walking and climbing plus smooth power transfer to the binding and ski.

QUICK RELEASE PIN:

The new cuff closure system (Buckle + Velcro) is fixed on the inside by means of an insert on a pin. This technology allows the cuff to be quickly and completely released without removing the Velcro, which no longer needs to be adjusted each time it is used

EVO 45° SHELL CLOSURE:

The 45° buckle closure of the shell guarantees precise foot wrapping for both skiing and walking. In addition, the lever pressure is well distributed in the medial area thanks to a bipartite flap.

BONDED SHELL:

With Dalbello’s Bonded Shell construction, the shell is injected in two distinct lengthwise sections and then bonded with an infrared welding process. Each of the individual shell pieces can have much more contour than if injected as a single piece. Once bonded, the new Quantum series boots have a better fit than traditional ultralight shells can deliver.

DUAL LINK CUFF:

The two-piece dual link cuff allows more than a 65° range of movement, and can take the skier into touring mode instantaneously.

MICRO-ADJUSTABLE BUCKLES:
